Join us this year when the Backcountry Film Festival stops in Whitefish for the first time! Together, we'll celebrate the human powered experience. We'll be pouring the beer! $1 of every beer sold goes to Montana Wilderness Association.
This festival features 9 seperate films from head-deep powder in the Shirakawa backcounty, to a 55 hour story from Mexico, and onto a journey with an all-women team between the intersection of scientific exploration and outright gueling fun.
Special guests will be Martha Hunt from Whitefish and KT Miller who produced Shifting Ice, one of the films being featured this year at the festival. Only in Whitefish will the crowd get a behind-the-scenes look at their all-female, zero carbon sail-and-ski expedition to Greenland in 2014.
