That Right Ladies & Gentlemen!!!!

The 2018 Whitefish Winter Carnival is now jam packed with even more fun!!! Smokin' Aces Events and Great Northern Brewery are pleased to present Whitefish Winter Carnival Gelande Quaffing at Great Northern Bar & Grill!!! This event is one that should not be missed! Gleande Quaffing brings together the grace of Gleande with the fun of drinking beer! Teams of 4 will go head to head by throwing mugs full of beer down and off a table to a waiting teammate. The teammate must wait for it to slide off the table and catch the mug before it hits the ground. Then they must consume the contents before continuing on the in the round. Teams score points based on catching and consuming the beer mug. Each round will make things harder and harder until we have crowned the first ever Whitefish Winter Carnival Gelande Quaffing Champions!

The rules of the game maintain one simple rule: Teams take turns throwing beers down and off the table to their teammates, whom must catch it before it hits the ground and comsume its contents. The team with the most catches wins. From there each round makes things more and more interesting.

Round One (1 Minute):

Each team member will rotate around the table going from the pitcher postion, in which they are tossing the beer mug down the table, to the quaffer, catching and consuming the beer mug. All four players must participate in the round. Teams will score 1 Point for all beers that are caught on the mug. Teams will score 2 Points for all beer caught by the handle. Judges will make the call on whether or not the team consumed enough of the beer (no spilling) to consider it a scoring toss. The team with the most points after 1 minute wins and moves on.

Round Two (1 Minute):

Each team member will rotate around the table going from the pitcher postion, in which they are tossing the beer mug down the table, to the quaffer, catching and consuming the beer mug. All four players must participate in the round. In this round each quaffer must do a 360 degree spin before catching the beer mug. The quaffer must wait to spin until the pitcher has tossed the mug down the table.

Teams will score 1 Point for all beers that are caught on the mug. Teams will score 2 Points for all beer caught by the handle.
