1933 Hoppy Pils is on its way!

Last week the brewers at GNBC got underway with the brewing of the 1933 Hoppy Pils as part of the Summer 2016 Weathervane Seasonal special releases. 1933 is set to go on sale in the Draught House June 9th!

The year is 1933, and the National Park Service has just dedicated the Going to the Sun highway in Glacier. End to end, the road spans 53 miles and climbs to Logan Pass at nearly 6,700 feet. From the road, visitors can view some of the cleanest and brightest natural wonders in the world! To celebrate this monumental feet of engineering, we brewed this incredibly bright and clean pilsner, hopped in the tradition of American-style ales.

With over a thousand pounds of Pilsner malt added by hand, this Hoppy Pils is sure to remind you of the Pilsners of old. Chinook, German Cascade & Sorachi Ace hops are added at various points of the brew to give this traditional style a modern twist.

Crisp and clean like you'd expect from a Pilsner Lager but hopped more like a modern American Pale Ale, the 1933 Hoppy Pils is sure to refresh and take the edge off on a hot summer day!
